EHS Associate

Provide for compliance assurance with Client(s), JLL and regulatory requirements regarding environmental health and safety.
Review and approve Job Hazard Analyses for defined critical tasks.
Maintain a collaborative partnership with client(s) EHS organization.
Provide construction and project EHS oversight
Review/approve JSAs and Contractor HASPs
Provide environmental recordkeeping, guidance and compliance supervision
Provide for emergency response leadership as defined by Client(s) and JLL.
Inspect vendor operations using prescribed protocols.
Collaborate with JLL vendor partners to assure they operate their businesses in compliance with Client(s) and JLL requirements while on-site.
Conduct EHS training as required.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures and EHS Management Systems assuring EHS compliance.
Perform hazard assessments and evaluations; implement risk reduction/mitigation strategies as appropriate.
Drive implementation of EHS initiatives regarding high risk activities such as Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, LO/TO and Elevated Work.
Support or lead incident investigations including root cause analysis if required.
Provide for EHS performance data contributing to account-wide EHS performance dashboard.
Assess and identify appropriate resources and equipment necessary to fully support EH&S objectives.
Support JLL EHS Leadership on projects related to areas of responsibility.
A degree in occupational safety, safety management or relevant field; relevant professional certifications a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
