Subcontract Administrator

Our client is currently seeking a Subcontract Administrator

Functional Working Subcontract Administrator / Manager to perform the following in a Project Site Location contracting the Closed Shop Subcontractor Environment:


????????? Must have significant experience dealing with closed shop contractors in the construction project environment.


????????? Must be a self-starter to work in a Construction Project Site Environment with much experience dealing with closed shop subcontractors.


????????? Ability to create a Subcontracting Plan and Manage Pre-qualification of potential Bidders.


????????? Ability to create Request for Proposals for Subcontractors to perform Civil / Structural / Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, and other subcontracts as required.


????????? Ability to negotiate initial Subcontract and post Award Subcontract Changes through the administration of the subcontract as they arise.?


????????? Experience in working in a Job Site Environment with all levels of Contraction Management Staff


????????? Develops advanced concepts, techniques, and standards; viewed as consultant within the project.


????????? Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity and scope that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuity.


????????? Work performed under senior construction management?s direction toward construction project goals and objectives.


????????? Project Subcontract consultant to construction management for project organization on highly significant subcontract matters.?


Technical/Functional Responsibilities:


?
???? ? ? ?Participates in and/or conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contact activities


????????? Provides for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications


????????? Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness


????????? Prepares bids, processes specifications, progress, and other reports, advises management and project personnel of contractual rights and obligations


????????? Implements contract modifications, data management and coordination with subcontractors


????????? Reviews subcontractor bids for conformity to contract requirements


????????? Accomplished in Word / Excel Pivot Tables a must.


????????? Experience in Prolog Converge a plus



 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
