Associate Biochemist - HPLC, ELISA, PCR

Responsibilities:



  • Utilize experience with biochemical laboratory tools and techniques used for protein purification such as buffer preparation, pH measurement, microfiltration, tangential flow filtration, chromatography, gel electrophoresis, etc.

  • Independently and proactively execute procedures and experimental objectives in a timely and detail oriented manner.

  • Responsibilities will also include execution of various bioanalytical techniques


Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree in the life sciences, bioengineering, or related field required

  • Basic knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field

  • Experience performing analytical work including HPLC/UPLC (Waters/Empower), ELISA methods, SDS-PAGE, cIEF, qPCR and/or other protein characterization and biophysical methods

  • Previous laboratory experience working with protein purification utilizing AKTA/Unicorn systems preferred

  • Experience working in a GLP and/or GMP environment

  • Excellent organization skills to multi-task and manage multiple projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated, energetic, organized, and willing to work in a laboratory setting

  • Must be able to work flexible work schedule that may include shift work.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
